Artist Statement
Having lived and worked in different countries, and having been raised in France by Argentine parents, my artistic practice is shaped by cultural intersections and a sensitivity to relationships between forms. Now based in New York, where I have lived and worked for over 19 years, I perceive the world as a relational space, where elements interact and each carries infinite possibilities.
My work is rooted in process and exploration—playing with ideas, repeating gestures, and engaging materials and structures until they naturally find their place. I create relief and suspended pieces in which wood defines architecture and depth, while metal, paper, leather, and acrylic appear as fragments in dialogue.
Built through layering and successive adjustments, my compositions unfold as sensitive architectures, where depth, void, and movement become active dimensions. Each piece carries a sense of becoming, as if its elements are still seeking their place. Through time, maturation, and shifts in environment, the fragments gradually settle into a quiet coherence, revealing an equilibrium that breathes through change, never meant to stand still.
