Las muestras “¿Seguirá siendo libre el cielo?” y “Transformar lo propio” encuentran un punto de contacto inesperado: la obra como algo que puede permanecer abierto, pasar a otro y en ese encuentro,…

Transformar lo propio is an exhibition created in dialogue with my father, artist Pájaro Gómez.

The project brings together two generations, two artistic languages, and two distinct ways of working. Rather than creating a single work together, we each begin from our own fully developed pieces, allowing elements of the other’s language to enter, intervene, and transform them.

At the heart of the exhibition is a simple question: What happens when we allow something outside ourselves to enter what we consider our own?

Through this exchange, Transformar lo propio explores identity, openness, and transformation — the possibility of being changed by another perspective without losing what makes us who we are.
